Founded by husband-and-wife team Jacob and Amanda Solano in 2019, Machinery Northwest Co. is the region’s leading provider of repair and maintenance services for all makes and models of mining and construction equipment. Fully mobile, their 24/7 availability and capability to go virtually anywhere their clients need them have made them one of the industry's most flexible and versatile repair services.

Jacob has plenty of experience when it comes to dealing with repairs and maintenance for mining and construction equipment, having worked for Atlas Copco, one of the biggest names in heavy equipment manufacturing and supply for a decade, before working with Sandvik, one of the biggest rock drill manufacturer, for another five. While working for Sandvik, one of the largest surface and underground mining equipment manufacturers, as one of their three tech specialists in North America. All his experiences as a Technical Support Representative helped him combined with his background in heavy equipment repair for these large equipment manufacturers, both as a trainer (for both operators and mechanics) and as a customer representative because he had the ability to bridge both sides. Eventually, Jacob desired to work with the end-users themselves and do something beneficial with his vast array of experience leading him to found Machinery Northwest Co. with his wife.

The company specializes in all makes and models of heavy equipment and adjacent accessories in the mining and construction industries from some of the most prominent players in the industry, like Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Yamamoto, Furukawa, and PowerKing. Although exceptionally skilled in hydraulic hammer repair, electrical system maintenance and repair, and dealing with hydraulic systems, the Northwest Machinery Co. team has no job too big or complex.

Thanks to being a mobile service, Jacob and Amanda have the flexibility competitors don’t possess. They’re available 24/7 (although they try to be off for the holidays) and can go virtually anywhere, no matter the distance. Jacob has even been as far as the Arctic Circle to help clients!
